As the online community grew, cadets from various external organizations recognized the potential of this playful concept and began to contribute seriously to its evolution. Their involvement transformed the JSC from an informal online group into a more structured and purpose-driven entity. This shift marked the beginning of a journey towards establishing a cadet program that resonated with the objectives and values of the U.S. Space Force. In 2021, this budding initiative took a formal turn with the creation of the **Junior Space Force** (JSF), signifying a major step in the organization's development. The cadets' active participation and input during this formative phase were instrumental in steering the direction and future of what would eventually become the SFCC, highlighting a commitment to collaborative growth. Late in the year 2022 marked another milestone for the organization with a significant rebranding, transitioning from JSF to the current Space Force Cadet Corps (SFCC).
