### Cadet Specialist (C/Spc)
**Preamble**
The rank of Cadet Specialist (C/Spc) serves as the entry-level position within the Space Force Cadet Corps (SFCC). It is designed to welcome new members into the corps, providing them with their first exposure to the structure, duties, and expectations of the SFCC. As the foundational rank, it plays a crucial role in setting the standards for discipline, respect, and basic knowledge that are essential throughout a cadet’s journey in the corps.
**Rank Overview**
- **Objective:** To introduce new cadets to the fundamental aspects of the SFCC, instilling a sense of belonging and an understanding of the core values and missions of the corps.
- **Duration:** This rank is typically held for a minimum of 60 days to ensure adequate exposure and learning.
**Time in Service Requirement:**
- **Minimum Service Time:** Cadets must have at least 90 days of service in the SFCC or a recognized equivalent organization to qualify for the Cadet Specialist rank.
**Time in Grade Requirement:**
- **Minimum Time Before Promotion:** Cadets must serve at least 60 days as a Cadet Specialist before being eligible for promotion to the next rank, subject to completion of all required tasks and favorable evaluations.
**Responsibilities and Duties:**
- [ ] **Basic Training (Minimum 10 Sessions, 1 Hour Each):**
- [ ] Engage in training sessions covering the history, purpose, and expectations of the SFCC.
- [ ] Learn and practice basic drill and ceremony procedures.
- [ ] **Participation in Corps Activities (Minimum 5 Events):**
- [ ] Actively participate in scheduled training sessions, workshops, and meetings.
- [ ] Support and assist in at least two corps community events.
- [ ] **Personal Development Workshops (Minimum 3 Workshops on Leadership and Communication):**
- [ ] Attend workshops focused on character development, teamwork, and effective communication.
**Direct-Entry Eligibility and Proof of Training:**
- Applicants for direct-entry must provide detailed proof including:
- [ ] **Skill Certifications:** Certificates or awards specifying achieved skills such as basic drills, leadership training, or community service.
- [ ] **Performance Reviews (Minimum of 2):** Written evaluations from instructors detailing the applicant’s competencies.
- [ ] **Letters of Recommendation (At least 1):** From leaders or instructors discussing the applicant’s suitability for the rank based on leadership qualities, teamwork, and character.
**Standardized Testing for Evaluation:**
- [ ] **Written Exam:** Consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions covering the history and fundamentals of the SFCC.
- [ ] **Practical Test:** Demonstration of basic drill and ceremony proficiency.
**Integration and Ongoing Evaluation:**
- **Orientation Course (4 sessions, 2 hours each):** Covering SFCC’s history, values, protocols, and expectations.
- **Mentorship Program:** Minimum 1-month mentorship with an experienced cadet.
- **Periodic Reviews:** Bi-monthly evaluations for the first six months.
**Community and Service Requirements:**
